At pizza Bellissima we have been at this for a while. We wanted to create the perfect pizza base the way it should be done.

Our Master pizza chef created this unique recipe using only the finest ingredients locally sourced.

Our bases are hand stretched and left to prove for 24 hours resulting in a delicious tasting pizza dough.

Why do we use durum wheat flour? Durum wheat flour has a high content of slowly digestable starch, which is a slow release carbohydrate. Consumption of foods high in slowly digestable starch raises blood glucose concentration less after a meal compared to foods low in slowly digestable starch.
